DRUIDS OF TESERON

DRUIDS OF TESERON

The Druids of Teseron rule the Teseron Forest with both the unconditional love of a child for mother nature, and an iron fist and protectiveness of a hardened father.

Unknown to outsiders when the order was first established, it is believed they have existed possibly as long as the El Tomathian bloodline itself. The order consists of various tribes, each led by an elder druid, all whom answer to the grand druid in the village of Teseron in the heart of the forest.

The Druids believe nature and the world are the key to life and that harmony must always be maintained between the world and those who dwell on it. They worship no deities other than nature and the elements themselves, believing they encompass all that a god can be.

"He is the father, he is what is provided for shelter and sustenance. She is the mother, she is the breath of wind, the warmth of fire, the foundation of earth, and the cleansing waters."

The druids use nature and life magic to heal the world and to defend it as well. They have abilities that allow them control of the elements, to speak with animals, to shape shift into animals, trees, and even sand blowing in the wind. They are naturally skilled in the use of bows and spears.

Any who enter their woods are instantly watched. The birds, the animals, even the trees communicate with them alerting them of all who trespass. Outsiders are rare due to the reputation of the druids, but those who do intrude are usually captured and later released outside of the forest. Some of have never returned, as the druids are capable of taking life to protect life, but they are a peaceful people who mean harm to no one who loves what nature provides.

The one group they have no love for and have viewed to fight to the death are the Orcs of The Frozen Wood. The druids believe the orcs have fouled and corrupted the The Frozen Wood by freezing it, whereas the orcs believe they are preserving it and protecting it for generations yet to come. This philosophical difference is what has led to many bloody and deadly battles between the two factions, and subsequently made both the Teseron Forest and The Frozen Wood one of the most densely populated with undead.

The Teseron Ruins are a place of worship for the druids, and the nearby tree city of Ut is the only settlement they have allowed from outsiders, as most in the tree city do not dwell out of it and are welcoming to the druids.
