MARON THE WISE

Maron The Wise

Maron goes by many names, Maron The Wise, Maron The Brave, Maron The Intellectual, Maron The Cunning, Maron The Omnipresent, and many more.

As the headmaster of the Mage Academy in the pirate controlled city of Port Skell (also the only establishment in Port Skell not controlled by pirates) Maron The Teacher is responsible for the education in the various crafts of magic taught to students who have the willpower to learn.

As a young boy he grew up as one of only a few humans in the town of Greyshore to the north. Always curious with his nose in books, Maron The Educated left the small town for Peregren where he was taught the arcane arts by Grettal. Ever the studious student, Maron The Accomplished was chosen to be headmaster of the academy in Port Skell when it was just a fishmonger city before pirates laid claim to it.

Defending the academy with a small handful of students, the building remained and a truce was made between the pirates and the wizard. Neither would harass the other, which was just fine with superstitious pirates, and both would work to keep the city safe from the undead, which was just fine with Maron The Just Fine.

His most prizes pupil was a young boy by the name of Jaysil, a prodigy gifted with the mind of a master wizard as a toddler. By the time Jaysil had reached puberty he had surpassed Maron The Master, and was recommended by Grettal to oversee the mysterious Arcane Sanctuary near Peregren and the minotaur city of Azerath.

Maron The Disagreeable disagreed with Grettal's decision but still supported his student in the task. Remaining in Port Skell as the headmaster of the academy, Maron The Unwavering continues to this day to teach others the finer art of magic.
