WHO IS GRETTAL?

 

Who is Grettal?

Not much is known of the frail old woman from Peregren who is the owner and proprietor of Grettal's Magic Shoppe'. She is often viewed by her fellow citizens of the capital city as mysterious, humble, wise, and frighteningly dangerous. 

Her shop rests in the heart of the Peregren, a small one-story wooden shack with a tiny back garden squeezed in between the massive granite Knights of El Tomath barracks and the towering Cathedral of Yelamakay. Local children believe she's a vampire who never dies, while the adults often see her with just as much superstition. Wizards and apprentice mages revere her as the most powerful of their order. Even the highly regarded Jaysil The Red Curse has been known to seek her guidance and advice. 

A grand master of all crafts of the arcane, potion brewing, magical item creation, and even clairvoyance of alternate dimensions, realities, and worlds, Grettal and her magic shop are considered the last defense of Peregren should it's walls fall to the hunger of the undead.

KNOWN ABILITIES

There seems to be no limit to the sorcery Grettal uses, but some of her more well known attributes are teleportation, shape changing, and a direct line of communication with deities.
