YOUNG SURGE, AND PACIFICA

Young Surge, and Pacifica

Not much is known about Surge's past during the 90s and before that. He emerged from the Pacific Ocean Stark naked on the shores of San Diego, California (*see Surge #1, originally published by Ninja Frog Comics in 2003.) Before that he was the prince of Pacifica, the underwater kingdom of exiles from its sister city of Atlantis, which is ruled by his father Poseidon.

During his time in Pacifica it is believed he was often entitled to whatever he wanted, most notably women, much like his father, and may have possibly been it's ruler. Due to Surge's own memory lapses, these are the best guesses the physicists employed by the government have surmised.

No evidence of life other than the average aquamarine animal exists within the Pacific Ocean according to the government, but it is believed Pacifica may be teeming with millions, potentially billions, of other beings just like Surge, including two names Surge remembers but isn't sure why, Tiger-Shark, and Maximus. He also has memories of large stone giants, but beyond that his time in the underwater kingdom of Pacifica is mostly unknown. No other evidence of Pacifica or its existence has been revealed to the public yet.
