20 years ago Black Cheetah first appeared in Surge #2 as the partner of Surge and senior officer for the Grimm, Indiana Police Department. His adventures are just as harrowing as his partner. Going undercover to join the evil organization of The Resistance, the old grizzled officer of the law eventually met his untimely demise when he was forced to kill Dart, also known as Hermes the Greek deity of speed, and battle Surge to keep his undercover status a secret from The Resistance before he was shot by Chris Rook. He would later return as a zombie in Grimm, Indiana: Reality's Edge before he was killed again. But before all of that happened he had his own history with Snow Whitney, trying to apprehend the thief during her early days as the exotic dancer, Stilleto!
